Tour Plan
Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide who will take you on a Kigali City tour. You will visit the Genocide memorial site, the National Museum, and later transfer to Goma via the Goma border. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge of booking.
After an early breakfast depart for Parc National des Virunga and on to the starting point of your Congo gorillas tracking experience. After completing our park formalities, we embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience of tracking mountain gorillas. These massive primates are extremely rare, with less than 880 living today. You will get within meters of the family, and be privileged to spend an hour amongst them. After the gorilla tracking activity in Virunga, we cross Rwanda to Parc Volcanoes. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge of booking.
You will, after breakfast, move to the Park headquarters of Volcanoes National Park where you will receive a briefing on the rules of golden monkey trekking. It starts from 8 am-11 am and after you will have a cultural tour. You will visit different cultures around Volcanoes National Park. You will get a chance to interact with them to know the way they live their life. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
During the fourth day of trekking Congo gorillas Safari, You will after breakfast travel back to Kigali to catch up with your departure flight.
